Overview
We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions at Skagit Regional Ambulatory – 300 Hospital Parkway, Mount Vernon, WA 98274. Online applications are accepted only. Job SummaryFloor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.
Essential Functions- Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
- Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
- Utilize automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
- Perform carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, damp‑surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
- Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the manager.
- Preferred experience as a floor care technician or a related role.
- Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
- Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs. frequently.
