Role SummaryThe Facilities Auditor is responsible for auditing the performance of the cleaning crew from the previous day and ensuring the overall well-being of the facility. This includes maintaining compliance with safety, cleanliness, and operational standards while proactively addressing any facility-related concerns.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Audits
- Perform daily audits of completed cleaning services, ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements.
- Evaluate the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the facility.
- Use company-provided tools to document audit results and communicate findings.
- Identify areas needing improvement and provide constructive feedback to the cleaning team.
- Facility Oversight
- Conduct inspections to ensure overall facility well-being, including OSHA safety compliance, functionality, and equipment maintenance (lighting, HVAC, etc.).
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address facility-related issues and repairs.
- Serve as a liaison between the cleaning team and client representatives to ensure smooth operations and address concerns in a timely manner.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’s degree preferred. - Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, facilities management, or cleaning/janitorial services.
- Bilingual: Full proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
- Preferred: Knowledge or experience with Lean Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams (cleaning, maintenance, clients).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with auditing software.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
