Job Summary

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and polishes floors
• Removes trash and recyclables, dusts furniture or fixtures
• Polishes metal fixtures or trimmings
• Cleans lavatories, showers, toilets, urinals, walls and restroom sinks
• Ensures that restrooms and janitorial closets are clean and stocked
• Complies with requirements identified in the Performance Work Statement and Contract Task Order.
• Supports the company and NASA established goals and objectives, with emphasis on workplace safety policy and guidelines.
• Assists in special events during load in and load out process of materials and supplies to include cleaning of all tables, chairs, trash receptacles, recyclable receptacles and canopies

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Positive verbal communication skills with internal and external customers
• Ability to work safely, independently or with teams.
• Must be courteous with positive customer service skills
• Detailed oriented and must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Possess a clean DMV driving record and valid driver’s license

• Work requires long periods of walking, standing, bending, stooping, squatting and climbing and the use of stools
• Pushing work cart with janitorial equipment and transporting cart and supplies to various outbuildings during various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
• Ability to lift heavy items from 5-50 pounds continuously
• High dusting, blinds cleaning and window washing requires use of a ladder
• Some confined space access is necessary to clean equipment, mechanical rooms or under raised flooring
• Stair well cleaning requires climbing inside and outside stair cases carrying cleaning tools and materials.

Posted Salary Range: 20-23
