Field/Service Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
As a Senior Field Engineer at Automated Logic, you will be the primary technical owner for turn‑key project delivery.
Responsibilities- Own the install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems.
- Deliver full software solutions, including sequencing, graphics, and alarms.
- Act as the lead resource and mentor for junior technicians.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring predictable, high‑quality outcomes.
- Partner with Project Managers to manage risk and align execution.
- Coordinate with teams to ensure clear communication and reliable delivery.
- Travel as needed and remain adaptable to shifting priorities, project demands, and field workloads.
- Demonstrate deep proficiency with ALC products, system architectures, and ASHRAE guidelines to deliver safe, high‑performance systems across complex customer environments.
- Maintain expert‑level documentation, including commissioning logs and progress tracking, to ensure safe and compliant system delivery.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or a related technical field.
- Valid, current Driver’s License and insurability by the company’s insurance carrier.
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as squatting and climbing for extended periods.
- Capability to work over 8 feet above grade and proficient use of ladders and motorized lift equipment.
- Proven leadership and mentorship experience as a technical authority.
- Ability to execute turnkey building automation solutions with minimal oversight.
- High‑level proficiency in integrating diverse platforms and managing complex TCP/IP and wireless networking.
- Advanced diagnostic skills for resolving high‑level technical challenges in controls, sensors, and software at the equipment and system level.
- Commitment to delivering site‑specific technical training and maintaining clear documentation.
The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 and $, depending on skills, education, and experience.
