Maintenance Technician

POSITION: Maintenance Technician REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team! Our Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment on the production line!

You will be a great fit if you are a friendly and hardworking team player who is eager to take on new challenges! This role is physically demanding as you will be lifting, moving, and handling large parts of equipment for the bulk of your job.

• You are able to lift up to 23kg
• You are multitasker who can juggle priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• You pay extra attention to details and have excellent hand-eye coordination
• You can make sound and safe judgement

• You have 3-5 years of relevant experience
• You have strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
• You have excellent mathematical and mechanical skills
• You have great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

• Experience and/or education in lean manufacturing;
  Six Sigma
• Boiler and/or ammonia certification

• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
• Operate hoisting/lifting device and operate machine tools as needed
• Install, align, take apart, and move stationary industrial machinery/mechanical equipment using appropriate tools
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery

• You can work flexible shifts, as the job requires
• Valid DL
