Overview

Mountain Motorsports seeks a competitive, non‑entry level motorcycle/ATV/PWC technician with 1 to 3 years of experience. Candidates should have a strong drive, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently in a physically and mentally demanding environment.

• Diagnose and repair two‑ and four‑stroke engines.
• Remove and replace engine components on marine vehicles.
• Remove and replace defective frame and body parts using hand tools, arbor presses, and other equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues.
• Perform preventative and regular maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
• Compose repair estimates for internal and external customers.
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional recommended services.
• Prepare a list of required parts and labor times for each job.
• Explain diagnostic test results to the Service Manager and, if necessary, to the customer.
• Perform test rides and other vehicle tests.
• Follow all safety rules and guidelines as determined by Georgia law and management.
• Provide own basic tools and maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Work with minimal supervision.

• Language skills to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
• Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Education and experience:
  
  1 to 3 years related experience and/or training.
• Basic computer knowledge for typing and scheduling systems.
• OEM certifications preferred.

• Regular attendance during normal store hours, including 9+ hour days and weekend work.
• Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
• Capacity to work in high‑stress environments and under tight deadlines, with occasional longer or later hours as needed.
• Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs and pushing of objects up to 100+ lbs.

• Occasional exposure to temperature and humidity changes.
• Frequent working with and around others.
• Occasional work around mechanical parts and hazardous chemicals.
• Occasional work around moving objects (including dogs and other service animals).
• Noise level: medium to high.
