Driller Helper

Responsibilities

• Perform standard penetrometer testing operations including performing borings and geoprobes
• Locate borings in the field
• Record required drilling data
• Report project-specific issues to the project manager and/or your supervisor
• Perform drill rig and support truck maintenance; report repair and maintenance issues to the drilling supervisor
• Follow company safety procedures and guidelines for maintaining a safe work environment for all crew personnel
• Safely and accurately load drill rig and support vehicle each day with supplies
• Promptly and accurately complete time sheets and field paperwork
• Care for and clean assigned company vehicles, drilling equipment and other assigned equipment
• Maintain professional behavior and quality standards
• Be willing to work out of town and on non-standard work schedules when required
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• 0‑3 years of experience
