Duties of the Maintenance Supervisor include but are not limited to:

• Assign work to the unit work force daily. Prepares irregular tours and other schedules and submits them in advance to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain a balanced work load between the subordinate work groups, making adjustments in the work load as necessary.
• Assist in writing accident reports, incentive awards, suggestion and/or work simplification.
• Generates and signs subsidiary time and attendance sheets and checks accuracy and signs employee activity sheets.
• Provide updated data on all work orders, repaired data including time, parts, materials and cost of items used.
• Ability to work from sketches and blueprints.
• Maintain stock levels of all supplies needed for operation, repair and upkeep of all items assigned to activations team.
• Must have extensive knowledge of various codes, standards and regulations that pertain to trades assigned to Activation team.
• Requires physical efforts in walking, standing, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling moderately heavy loads.
• Assist in schedules and determine the preventive maintenance necessary for all equipment This position requires a state drivers license, as there is travel between job sites.
• Must have working knowledge of Carpentry, Plumbing, Painting and Electrical trades.
