TimeMonday - Friday 2p-10pSUMMARYKeeps the facility in clean, orderly conditions by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Cleans all floors by sweeping and mopping in the facility such as common areas, dining room, hallways, kitchen etc.
• Empties trash cans and disposes in the correct location
• Able to use cleaning floor machine
• Vacuums hallways within facility
• Trash routes
• Performs light maintenance and creates order forms of needed maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (preferred but not required)
• One or three months related experience, training, or equivalent combination of experience and education
• On the job training is provided for this position

Language Skills

• Ability to speak, read, comprehend and write in English
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to residents and other employees of the organization

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Reasoning Skills

• Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Physical Needs

• The employee is required to regularly walk, use hands, talk, or hear
• The employee is required to regularly reach with hands and arms
• The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• The employee is required to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to mechanical parts
• The employee is occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock
• The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate
