Printer Repair Tech - Murray

Forgely is a Utah-based 3D printing retail and service company. We're hiring a part-time Printer Repair Technician at our Murray location to diagnose and repair customers' 3D printers brought in for service.

• Diagnose and repair customer-owned 3D printers (FDM and resin) brought in for service
• Troubleshoot hardware issues: hotends, nozzles, extruders, hotbeds, belts, motors, wiring, and control boards
• Replace and calibrate parts; update firmware and tune print settings to verify the fix
• Run test prints to confirm repairs and document the work performed
• Explain issues and recommended fixes to customers in clear, friendly terms
• Track repair tickets, parts used, and turnaround times

On-the-job training provided — we’ll train the right person, so prior experience is a plus but not required.

$15.00 per hour, part-time.

• Interest in (or experience with) repairing 3D printers — we’ll train you on the rest
• Comfortable with soldering, basic electronics, and mechanical assembly
• Familiarity with common firmware (e.g., Marlin/Klipper) and slicer settings
• Strong diagnostic mindset and attention to detail
• Good customer-facing communication for explaining repairs

• On-the-job training — we’ll train the right person, so prior experience is a plus but not required
