Maintenance Team Lead

HNI Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead for our weekend shift in our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will lead a small team of technicians to keep production equipment and facility systems running safely and reliably. You will coordinate and perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and prioritize work based on production needs. You will ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, maintain accurate maintenance records, and support continuous improvement.

This role is on-site in a fast-paced, collaborative, and safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule weekend maintenance technicians to support production goals
• Perform and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime
• Ensure all maintenance work follows safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Track work orders, parts usage, and maintenance records in CMMS or similar system
• Coordinate with production leaders to prioritize maintenance activities
• Train and mentor team members on equipment, procedures, and safety practices
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and uptime
