Facility Engineer

Salary Range: $28.54 - $35.67*

• Weekly preventive maintenance on all building equipment and building envelope, including daily/weekly and monthly logging of safety inspections.
• Inspections on facility equipment such as vertical transportation, boilers, generators and HVAC.
• Ordering maintenance supplies and assisting the Regional Manager in managing the maintenance expense accounts.
• Assist Regional Manager with execution of capital planning projects.
• Maintain and/or coordinate all building energy management systems including lighting through the Trane Ensemble Software.
• Support store systems such as Point of Sale (POS) and telephone systems; support kitchen equipment as required.
• Respond to after‑hours and emergency calls; overtime may be required.
• Work with limited time off between Black Friday and January 8.

• Degree from a vocational school or college focused on Mechanical or Electrical fields.
• Two to five years of experience or four years apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical field.
• Background in building maintenance, electrical and HVAC.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and self‑prioritize work assignments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self‑starter.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds with regular bending, lifting and reaching both below the waist and above the head and climb ladders.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with peers, management, contractors and vendors.
• Knowledge of SDS (Safety Data Sheets) information.
• Highly self‑motivated and customer‑centric.
