Hotel Maintenance Person

About the Role:

Quality inn & Suites Myrtle Beach, SC is looking for a reliable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Person to help keep our property in top shape for every guest. This is a hands‑on role where your work directly impacts the guest experience in one of the most exciting beach destinations on the East Coast. • Perform routine preventive maintenance on hotel rooms, common areas, and building systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry issues
• Inspect and maintain pool, fitness center, and exterior grounds as needed
• Ensure all safety equipment and systems are functional and up to code
• Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk teams to minimize guest disruption
• Document completed work orders and report recurring or major issues to management

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and basic carpentry
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to property upkeep standards
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout a shift
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as needed
