Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining and improving the appearance, cleanliness, and overall condition of parks, grounds, and other public areas. Performs a variety of landscaping, maintenance, and general labor duties to ensure assigned areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of manual maintenance and repair tasks, including mowing & weed eating
• Pick up litter and debris, clean public restrooms, empty trash containers, and collect accumulated leaves and other debris from public areas
• Operate a variety of light equipment and vehicles, including lawn mowers, tillers, pickup trucks, and other equipment used in landscaping, grounds maintenance, and property improvement
• Maintain assigned grounds and landscaped areas in a clean, safe, and well-maintained condition

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver's License
• High school diploma or GED required
• Able to pass screening requirements
