What You Can Expect:

The Dishwasher performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties in a hospital kitchen/cafeteria.

* Operates dishwasher and/or hand washes dishes, silverware, glassware, and pots and pans.

* Organizes and distributes cleaned and dried items.

* Cleans and sanitizes patient trays.

* Performs various cleaning duties to include cleaning floors, trash pick-up, hood fans, air vents, and other equipment as assigned.

* Performs cleaning and maintenance of dishwashing machine using appropriate chemicals per policy and procedures.

* Complies with proper utilization of personal protective equipment, chemicals, and MSDS information.

* Adheres to all food hygiene and health and safety requirements in order to meet regulatory and company standards.

* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
