Operations Coordinator
The Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations and event setup of the arena. This position assists with general labor tasks, including event setup and teardown, facility maintenance, and showing care to ensure the venue is safe, clean, and event-ready. The Operations Coordinator works closely with the Operations Manager, Supervisors, and other event staff to execute a variety of configurations for concerts, sporting events, trade shows, and community functions.
This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00 - $17.00.

This position will remain open until December 4, 2026.
Responsibilities- Coordinates the operation of all event changeovers, i.e., basketball floor, stage risers, chairs, and signs.
- Performs routine moderate tasks, maintaining the livestock arena, exercise arena, stall barn, facility floors, chairs, staging, risers, and other inventory as needed.
- Coordinates housekeeping services for the facilities.
- Assign work activities, monitor work flow, and identify and resolve common operational issues.
- Maintain an accurate record-keeping system for the hazardous materials communication program.
- Interacting with clients, serving their needs within the confines of state and local laws, providing physical facility needs, and performing custodial duties.
- Performs moderate to difficult set-ups in livestock facilities and works around some livestock.
- Performs operation of machinery, including forklifts, skid steers, tractors, and pickup trucks.
- Review and coordinate the changeover work plan, facility maintenance, and operations
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Possess superior interpersonal and strong communication skills.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; handle multiple tasks at one time; and meet deadlines.
- Must be self-motivated with strong coordination abilities and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of operational equipment, including but not limited to the following: forklifts, pallet jacks, scrubbers, floor buffers, mechanical lifting devices, staging, retractable seating risers, and basketball floors.
- Ability to follow detailed instruction and interpret AutoCAD drawings and blueprints.
- Candidates must be able to follow orders explicitly, be capable of working as part of a team, and be able to work well with other individuals.
- Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, extended (long) workdays, and extended numbers of days.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
