Perform miscellaneous skilled maintenance work including alteration and repair of buildings and mechanical systems. Operate heavy tractors and attachments used in tilling soil, planting, harvesting, building and maintaining levees and unimproved roads, and perform related laboring tasks. Operate trucks and other power equipment. May instruct, lead, or supervise inmates, wards, or resident workers. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position is limited term for 12 months and may be terminated at any time or become permanent later.
