Napa Post Acute is seeking a dependable and hardworking
** Maintenance Assistant
** to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. If you're a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping facilities operating smoothly, we'd love to meet you!### What You'll DoAs a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the overall maintenance and appearance of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility by:
* Assisting with general building maintenance and repairs
* Performing routine preventative maintenance tasks
* Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
* Completing basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting projects
* Maintaining grounds and outdoor areas as needed
* Assisting with equipment inspections and minor repairs
* Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and facility standards
* Transporting supplies and equipment when necessary
* Keeping maintenance areas organized and stocked### Qualifications
* Previous maintenance, facilities, building services, or handyman experience preferred
* Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs
* Ability to safely use hand and power tools
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
* Dependable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude
