• Valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver license with air brakes and passenger endorsement, to be obtained within 60 calendar days of employment.
• Pass the written test portion of the Florida Certified School Bus Safety Inspector Certificate within 60 calendar days of employment.
• Obtain the State School Bus Safety Inspector Certificate as offered by DOE.

CCPS Transportation partners with LWTC to offer automotive students a hands‑on apprentice training program. Work up to 40 hours a week with our Fleet department, earn valuable certificate credits, and gain practical experience. This program is designed to cultivate talent, helping students thrive in their chosen profession while creating a direct pipeline for future full‑time mechanic roles within CCPS.

Note – this vacancy is only open to current LWTC Automotive Vocational/Trade school students.
