Porter, Maintenance​/Cleaning

We are looking for a Porter to join our amazing team.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. The Porter plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of all common areas, assisting with light maintenance duties, and supporting a high standard of hospitality and care.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, dining rooms, restrooms, activity rooms and outdoor spaces.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying trash.
• Assist with room turnover and light maintenance duties, such as minor repairs, painting and furniture assembly.
• Respond promptly to resident and staff requests for assistance with facility‑related needs.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support the set‑up and breakdown of events and activities within the community.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies and request replenishment as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in janitorial, custodial or maintenance work, especially in a residential or hospitality setting, is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Friendly, respectful and professional demeanor when interacting with residents and staff.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, climb stairs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening, as required by state regulations.
