Utility Worker

MV Transportation is seeking a Utility Worker to support safe, reliable transit operations across our passenger transportation services. In this role, you will help keep facilities, equipment, and vehicles clean, orderly, and ready for daily service. Duties include general cleaning, trash removal, yard and shop upkeep, assisting with vehicle staging and light exterior cleaning, and supporting materials handling. You will follow strict safety procedures, work closely with operations and maintenance teams, and help ensure a safe, respectful environment for employees and riders.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility and yard cleaning, trash removal, and basic upkeep
• Support vehicle staging, fueling assistance, and light exterior cleaning as directed
• Safely operate basic equipment and tools following MV safety standards
• Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and supplies
• Complete routine inspections and promptly report hazards or damage
• Follow all safety, PPE, and incident reporting procedures
• Work closely with dispatch, maintenance, and operations teams to meet service needs
• Maintain accurate logs or checklists for assigned tasks
