Floor Technician

Vi Living, a luxury senior living leader, is seeking a Floor Technician to ensure safe, spotless, and attractive floors throughout our community. You will clean and maintain hard floors and carpets in resident rooms and common areas, using professional equipment and following infection control standards. Working closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams, you'll support a welcoming, hotel-like environment while interacting respectfully with residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain floors in resident rooms, hallways, and common areas using mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and refinishing techniques
• Operate floor care equipment safely, including auto-scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and extractors
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to support a healthy environment for residents and staff
• Inspect floors for damage, stains, and hazards; report maintenance needs promptly
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals according to guidelines and safety data sheets
• Work respectfully in occupied resident areas, protecting furnishings and personal belongings
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to complete daily and periodic floor projects
• Maintain accurate logs of completed work and follow assigned schedules and priorities
