JAC Products is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Napoleon, OH. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring health & safety compliance, maximizing machine utilization, and developing the skills and performance of the maintenance team. In this role you will coordinate parts procurement and contractors, drive improvements in maintenance metrics, and supports projects as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
What You’ll Do:- Coordinate and direct maintenance staff assigned to the facility/Business Units.
- Develop, document, and manage maintenance procedures; ensure proper implementation and adherence.
- Lead professional development and performance management for maintenance employees; play a primary role in the training and mentoring of maintenance technicians.
- Source, purchase, and receipt of inventory and replacement parts for facility projects and equipment through credit card and PO orders.
- Maintain accurate spare parts inventory. Enforce sign-out process through CMMS to maintain accurate inventory of all maintenance crib items and production consumables
- Manage contractors and external service providers for repairs and capital projects.
- Oversee building systems, utilities, and grounds (HVAC, lighting, electrical panels, etc.)
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all recordkeeping requirements are met.
- Monitor and manage key maintenance metrics (PM completion, rework, downtime, open work orders, time to repair, etc.); develop processes to improve performance in CMMS.
- Utilize continuous improvement tools (5S, team-based problem solving, Kaizen events) to improve reliability and efficiency.
- 5+ years of hands‑on industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-based systems.
- Proven experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems).Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
