Maintenance Specialist/PT 25 hours/NashuaPart Time Manual Labor 30 Temple St 7th fl Nashua-Facilities, Nashua, NH, US
Role:
To address issues relating to the upkeep and maintenance of the company facilities at all locations; supplementing the general maintenance of cleaners and tradesmen when and where required.
- Respond to daily maintenance needs in a Service Strategy fashion as directed by the Facilities Manager.
- Assist by anticipating future needs to ensure all facilities are well‑maintained.
- Provide project oversight, as directed by the Facilities Manager, to include construction projects, special orders, ATM maintenance, renovations, department expansions, and other initiatives.
- Assist in removal of snow and ice from walkways and driveways.
- Notify management regarding needed repairs and order supplies as required.
- Conduct daily routine maintenance, such as bulbs, supplies, storage, and disposal of equipment.
- Provide coverage for the courier moving mail and various packages to the branches and the Post Office.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience:
Two to five years of similar or related experience in light maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, renovation, and minor repairs.
A two‑year college degree or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or job‑specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal SkillsCourtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. The work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
