Role:
To address issues relating to the upkeep and maintenance of the company facilities at all locations; supplementing the general maintenance of cleaners and tradesmen when and where required.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Respond to daily maintenance needs in a Service Strategy fashion as directed by the Facilities Manager.
- Assist by anticipating future needs to ensure all facilities are well-maintained.
- Provide project oversight, as directed by the Facilities Manager, to include: construction projects, special orders, ATM maintenance, renovations, department expansions, and others as they are introduced.
- Assist in removal of snow and ice from walks and snow and ice from walks and driveways.
- Notifies management regarding needed repairs; orders supplies as needed.
- Conduct daily routine maintenance where applicable (bulbs, supplies, storage, disposal of equipment, etc.)
- Provide coverage for the courier moving mail and various packages to the branches and the Post Office.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and
Skills:
Experience Two years to five years of similar or related experience. Experience in light maintenance to include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, renovation and minor repairs.
Education (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
