The Crew Member role at Middle Tennessee Traffic Management is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashville, TN. Crew Members play a vital role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of projects by managing traffic and maintaining compliance with traffic control standards. Responsibilities include setting up, monitoring, and dismantling traffic control equipment, directing vehicles and pedestrians, and responding to on-site changes or challenges.

The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety while supporting construction and utility crews in the field.

• Proficiency in setting up and managing traffic control systems, including proper placement of signs, cones, and barricades
• Knowledge of safety protocols, regulations, and best practices in traffic management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to interact effectively with colleagues and the public
• Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure in dynamic situations
• Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift traffic control equipment
• Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and maintaining a professional demeanor
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (required)
• Previous experience in traffic management or construction is a plus
