Hollow Children's Camp Maintenance Assistant

Service Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize camp facilities, including cabins, restrooms, dining areas, offices, and common spaces
• Perform daily, weekly, and turnover cleanings as needed
• Follow camp health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Work independently and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs
• Assist with light maintenance tasks when needed (e.g., basic repairs, setup, or upkeep)
• Properly use and care for cleaning equipment and supplies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and pride in doing thorough work
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work alone and stay on task
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual
• Comfortable working in a camp setting and around nature
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the day
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Maintenance or facilities experience is helpful but not required
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends
• Must pass a federal, state, and National Sex Offender background check.
