The Ooltewah Club, located in Ooltewah, Tennessee, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for a Maintenance Technician. The Ooltewah Club offers year-round outdoor activities and family fun, featuring an 18 hole championship course, a full driving range, a short game facility, a Junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, two lighted tennis courts, and four lighted pickleball courts. The club debuted a newly decorated clubhouse in 2019, which anchors the 150+ acre property located in a very high growth area of Chattanooga.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician at The Ooltewah Club include:
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the clubhouse and club facilities.
Complete light painting, touch-ups, and general upkeep projects as needed.
Identify, report, and help address maintenance issues in a timely manner.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of exterior areas, including entrances, patios, pool deck, and walkways.
Perform pressure washing of pool deck, sidewalks, and building exteriors as needed.
Assist with moderate landscaping tasks such as trimming, blowing, and general grounds cleanup.
Support restroom upkeep and ensure facilities are clean, stocked, and presentable, especially during high-traffic periods.
Assist with general cleaning duties to support housekeeping and overall facility standards.
Assist with assembling and installing new furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational needs across departments.
Assist in maintaining organization and inventory of maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment.
Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a safe environment for members, guests, and staff.
Other duties as assigned to support overall club operations CORE COMPETENCIES Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and presentation.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Dependable, proactive, and willing to assist wherever needed.
Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
Team-oriented mindset with a positive, service-driven attitude.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTAbility to lift and move furniture and equipment (50+ lbs).Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and performing physical tasks.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
