Location: 115 Stewarts Ferry Pike Nashville, Tennessee 37214
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (7.5 hrs/day)
Job Summary:
Client is seeking a Building Maintenance Worker III with 2–4 years of building maintenance experience. The candidate will perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance for school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair doors, windows, flooring, drywall, and woodwork
Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
Maintain school grounds (mowing, landscaping, fence repair)
Complete preventive maintenance and inspections
Operate maintenance equipment and tools
Move furniture and equipment as needed
Maintain inventory and complete work orders
Respond to emergency maintenance requests
Communicate with vendors and staff professionally
Required Skills:
2–4 years of building maintenance experience
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
Experience with:
Electrical maintenance (switches, outlets, lighting)
Basic HVAC maintenance (filters, belts, motors)
Carpentry and drywall repairs
General building and grounds maintenance
Ability to use hand and power tools
Experience with preventive maintenance and work orders
Able to lift 50–80 lbs and work outdoors
Must pass TBI/FBI fingerprint and background check
