2nd shift Floor Techs

Bestway Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Floor Technicians to join our team in Nashville, TN. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of hard-surface floors and carpeted areas using commercial floor-care equipment and industry-standard cleaning techniques.

• Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Full-Time

• Starting at $16.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate commercial floor-care equipment, including auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, carpet extractors, and other specialized equipment.
• Strip, seal, wax, buff, and burnish hard-surface floors.
• Scrub and restore tile and grout.
• Shampoo and extract carpets.
• Remove stains, scuff marks, and floor finish buildup.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed to complete floor maintenance projects.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain floor-care equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals while following company safety procedures and using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Complete scheduled floor maintenance projects efficiently and report equipment or facility maintenance concerns to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach, push, and pull.
• Operate commercial floor-care equipment safely.
• Lift and carry equipment, supplies, and chemical containers.
• Work safely around wet floors, cleaning chemicals, electrical cords, and machinery.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.

• Previous floor care or commercial janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience operating commercial floor-care equipment is a plus.
