Dockworker / Maintenance Technician – Nashville Riverboats

Want to be part of the team that keeps our luxury passenger vessels operating smoothly and looking impeccable? Manthey Hospitality is hiring Dockworkers / Maintenance Technicians to support dockside operations, vessel movements, and guest-ready presentation for Nashville Riverboats.

Nashville Riverboats delivers unforgettable sightseeing cruises, dining experiences, weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. We blend Southern hospitality, live entertainment, and scenic river cruising into one-of-a-kind experiences.

What You'll Do
  • Support docking and undocking procedures, including line handling, fender placement, and gangway management
  • Maintain awareness of tides, weather, and marina activity to ensure safety and vessel security
  • Keep dock areas clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
  • Assist with exterior vessel care (washing, polishing, light detailing, equipment staging)
  • Perform basic dock and shoreside maintenance to maintain a polished, luxury environment
  • Maintain dock equipment (hoses, power washers, carts, safety gear)
  • Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
  • Assist with loading/unloading provisions, supplies, and event materials
  • Provide professional, discreet assistance to guests, crew, and approved visitors
  • Support special events, inspections, and scheduled maintenance periods
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations
What You Bring
  • 1-2 years of experience in dock operations, marine maintenance, hospitality, or related fields preferred
  • Basic knowledge of line handling, knots, and dock safety
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining luxury standards
  • Excellent situational awareness and professional communication
  • Hospitality-minded approach with a polished, courteous demeanor
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed
  • Ability to work onboard for 2–5 hour cruises; occasional extended shifts up to 12 hours
