Job Summary

Job Availability:
Immediate hiring for part‑time Housekeeper positions at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital, 2000 Church Street, Nashville, TN 37236.

Schedule:

Part‑time schedule;
Sunday through Saturday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm and 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. Rotating weekends and holidays. Open availability required.

Fixed Pay Rate: $15.81 per hour.

• Provides quality customer service and one‑on‑one attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstery.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers; wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes up beds and changes linens as required; realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
• Responds to guest queries and housekeeping problem calls such as spills and broken glasses.
• Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with customers, colleagues and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Prior housekeeping experience in a medical/sterile environment preferred, but not required.
• Open availability on rotating weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
