West End Terrace Apartments is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and overall condition of our apartment community. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, functional, and attractive property environment.

This is an immediate hire opportunity due to a current staffing need.

Location:

West End Terrace Apartments | 261 White Bridge Road | Nashville, TN 37209

Compensation: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Reporting To:
Property Manager

• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform general repairs (plumbing, electrical, minor carpentry, etc.)
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and coordinate solutions

• Maintain common areas and building systems
• Ensure property remains safe and operational

• Prepare vacant units for leasing
• Perform trash-outs and basic repairs as needed

• Identify and report hazards immediately
• Follow all company safety and compliance policies

• Work closely with management and onsite staff
• Assist grounds/porter staff as needed

• Valid Tennessee driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Previous apartment or multi-family maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Experience handling work orders and property maintenance systems

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors as needed

• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Takes pride in quality work
• Communicates professionally with residents and team members
