Industrial Sanitation Technician

At 11:00 p.m., you step into a quiet manufacturing, food processing, or pharmaceutical facility in Nashville, TN, and take ownership of a pristine, safe, and inspection-ready environment. You move methodically—prepping equipment, selecting the right cleaning solutions, and following strict sanitation procedures that keep operations running smoothly by morning.
What a night looks likeYou’ll deep-clean production areas, floors, walls, and machinery; restock and organize janitorial supplies; and complete scheduled tasks with precision. You’ll also handle waste and recycling streams, including hazardous materials as required, documenting your work as you go. Heavy items? You’ll lift and transport supplies and equipment safely, teaming up with colleagues to keep standards high across the facility.
Core responsibilities- Thoroughly clean industrial spaces (machinery, floors, walls, and production zones) using the proper tools and solutions
- Execute sanitation procedures aligned with health and safety regulations, including those specific to pharmaceutical or processing environments
- Maintain and store cleaning equipment; track and replenish janitorial supplies
- Assist with waste removal, recycling, and hazardous material handling as needed
- Perform heavy lifting to move supplies/equipment safely within the facility
- Follow established cleaning schedules and accurately document completed work
- Collaborate with your team to uphold strict cleanliness and safety standards
- Experience in industrial cleaning, custodial, or janitorial roles (manufacturing setting preferred)
- Knowledge of sanitation practices for food production or manufacturing environments
- Ability to perform sustained physical work and heavy lifting throughout the shift
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to a safe workspace
- Reliable teamwork and adherence to safety protocols
Pay: $22–$24 per hour
Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
