Commercial Cleaner​/Day Porter

Job Summary:

Custodian is responsible for keeping all areas clean, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is dependable, and understands the importance of a clean and welcoming space for our clients.

Essential Job Functions:

Sweep, mop, vacuum, clean interior glass and dust throughout the facility

Clean and sanitize restrooms, lobby, common areas, mix rooms and offices

Empty trash and restock restroom supplies

Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained

Work together with facilities manager on supply reorder and organize supply

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to facilities manager

Attention to detail and pride in your work

Qualifications:

Must be able to lift or move materials up to 35 lbs Previous custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial facility

Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Exercise sound judgment and discretion in all matters including client confidentiality Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Flexibility to work special events Good command of the English language and understand of oral or written instructions

Frequent walking throughout the facility with ability to walk, bend or stand for extended periods

Must be able to work in a fast paced and high-energy environment Maintaining neat and clean personal appearance

Supply Closets Help maintain facilities consumable inventory and organization Work with facility manager on specific cleaning needs
