Winn Companies is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Deerfield Forest Condominiums, a 334 unit condominium complex housing community located in Natick, MA.
In this role, you will perform maintenance functions in the community, including rental units, residential common areas, office, grounds and parking lots.
The pay range for this role is $25.00-$28.00 per hour dependent on experience. The selected candidate will also adhere to the following schedule:
Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM-5:00PM, with rotational on-call one weekend per month.
- Perform repairs in such areas as, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
- Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures.
- Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market ready status in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management activities.
- Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and need.
- Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
- A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliances, and HVAC.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and able to assist residents as needed.
- Availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs once a month.
- Ability to speak and understand basic English.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
- Savvy with mobile devices.
- Ability to be available for snow removal and driving a plow truck to remove snow on weekends or holidays.
- Vocational or technical training.
- CAMT certification.
- Proficient with property management software.
