 – Metal Fabrication Maintenance Manager

• Maintain all machinery to ensure functionality at the established working standards.
• Work closely with the maintenance manager to implement a basic preventive maintenance program, including adoption of PM software.
• Work closely with Plant Mangers to schedule all emergency and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections to detect, prevent, and resolve problems.
• Supervise and liaise with outside service contractors to ensure that work is performed to expectations.
• Document maintenance logs.
• Maintain critical spare parts lists; establish safe stocking levels; inventory routinely and coordinate replacement ordering to prevent unnecessary stockouts.
• Champion 8/S, with particular emphasis on stock room, tooling and die organization.
• Ability to multi-task and possess attention to detail.

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience/qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment.
• Good understanding of electricity, plumbing, and carpentry, as well as a good understanding of technical prints and engineering drawings.
• Good mathematical and computer skills.
• Effective communication skills.

Certification:
Certified Forklift Operations preferred, but training available upon hiring.

Production areas can be demanding, sometimes requiring hearing, eye, thermal or other protection on the manufacturing floor. At a minimum, safety glasses and steel-toe (or equivalent) work shoes are mandatory PPE for any employee working in a Production area.
