Janitor, Maintenance​/Cleaning, Cleaning Services

We are hiring immediately for full time and part time JANITOR positions.

Location:

Navasota Independent School District – 9038 Highway 90 South, Navasota, TX 77868. (Openings at other locations within the school district available.)

Schedule:

Full time from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM; part time from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Days may vary; full and part time schedules are designed to meet most scheduling needs.

Requirement:
Prior janitorial experience is preferred, but not required.

Pay Range: $11.00 per hour to $11.50 per hour.

Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp-mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
• Clears assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment, sanitizes all surfaces, and follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for students, visitors and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervision.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refines floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
