• Pay range: $24.00 - $33.65 (depending on experience) + $1.50 attendance bonus
• Shift differential: 2nd Shift $1.50/hr, 3rd Shift $5.00/hr
• Hours: Monday through Friday, occasional overtime and weekend work
• Shift schedule: 1st Shift 6:00am – 2:30pm; 2nd Shift 2:00pm – 10:30pm; 3rd Shift 10:00pm – 6:30am
• Work shift: 3rd Shift (United States of America)

This position is responsible for operating rolling stock, performing general building equipment maintenance, including winter snow removal, and acting as backup to the wastewater treatment plant and sanitation operations as needed.

• General repair and maintenance of building, forklifts, pallet jacks, company vehicles, and all other equipment owned by the company.
• Maintain company grounds including snow/ice removal and lawn work.
• Maintain and safely operate all company rolling stock.
• Repair and replace facility light bulbs and repair facility plumbing as required.
• Back‑up wastewater treatment plant operator and sanitation operator sweeping designated areas.
• Trash removal from the facility and maintain cleanliness of truck sheds, loafing shed, and maintenance shop.
• Maintain the bone yard for cleanliness and assist with roof repairs and clean‑up.
• Perform all other duties directed by shift maintenance supervisors or lead.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; associate’s degree or equivalent in mechanical trade preferred.
• Ability to carry out essential duties efficiently within safety guidelines.
• Proficiency with hand tools and trade tools for facility maintenance.
• Mechanical background with knowledge of vehicle maintenance, scheduled maintenance, basic plumbing, and light fixtures.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain operator’s licenses for forklift, skid loader, and pallet jack.
• Willingness to work overtime and be called to work for emergency situations as required.

• Stand/Walk continuously (at least 8 hours a day) or occasionally (1‑3 hours a day).
• Frequent lifting/carrying of 1‑10 lbs., occasional up to 35‑50 lbs., and rarely over 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Work around moving machinery, changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust, fumes, and occasional ladder work, exposure to strong odors.
