Housekeeping Supervisor

Hemingford Community Care Center in Hemingford, Nebraska is seeking a dependable, motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our environmental services team and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department.
  • Assist the Director of Maintenance with interviewing, hiring, coaching, and disciplining housekeeping staff as needed.
  • Train, schedule, and support housekeeping team members to ensure high performance and quality standards.
  • Monitor cleanliness throughout the facility and ensure housekeeping tasks are completed thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Maintain housekeeping supply inventory and order products as needed.
  • Promote compliance with infection prevention, sanitation, and safety standards.
  • Participate in facility leadership meetings and provide updates on departmental operations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years of commercial housekeeping experience required.
  • Previous housekeeping supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
