Maintenance Planner - A Shift - Madison, NE

Job Details:

• Maintain MMS PM System data and reporting.
• Analyze data for maintenance planning and scheduling for the (Ham Plant is the CIR planners)
• Schedule building maintenance, Instruments and projects. Along with filling in when others are gone.
• Develop enterprise-wide Best Practice preventative maintenance.
• Review P.M. work orders and optimize equipment reliability.
• Learn Universal Maintenance Standards for task time expectations.
• Identify and label new equipment according to Tyson standards.
• Utilize Key Performance Indicators for feedback.
• Plan maintenance work considering skill and safety training.
• Review SAP data from other locations and provide recommendations.
• Administer maintenance shift scheduling and work order backlog.
• Interface with various departments and external entities for special projects
• Author and Maintain CIR projects and reports
• Author general Project Scopes
• Communicate with management and vendors regarding project progression
• Follow-up on projects

• HS Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum two years in-house mechanical experience. Special training in maintenance or post-high school education preferred. Knowledge of parts room procedures and policies. Previous experience in planning and scheduling maintenance is a plus.

• Proficient Microsoft office

• 1 to 5 trips per year.

• Strong mechanical aptitude. Organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to work independently.

• 5 days a week 5am - 1:30pm
