Full-Time | 2nd Shift
Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
About the Role Jack's Maintenance Service is seeking experienced individuals to join our specialized Floor Care Project Crew in Neenah, WI. This is a technical, heavy-duty maintenance role. Please note:
This position is NOT a general cleaning, sweeping, or mopping role.
We are specifically looking for a skilled technician who enjoys seeing immediate, high-impact results and who possesses a solid foundation in advanced floor restoration. As a Floor Care Specialist, you would be responsible for high-quality floor restoration and maintenance across corporate offices, schools, medical clinics, and industrial mills.
Position Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience specifically in stripping, waxing, and buffing is required.
Scope of Work: Candidates must have a proven track record operating heavy equipment for floor resurfacing. General janitorial experience (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing) does not fulfill this requirement.
Flexibility: Candidates must be highly adaptable regarding 2nd-shift start and end times, as well as total workday length, to meet the dynamic needs of our clients.
Teamwork: A willingness to coordinate schedules daily, handle changing priorities, and assist teammates by covering short-staffed shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Floor Restoration: Execute precise stripping, waxing, and buffing procedures across various hard surfaces, ensuring proper chemical application and coat thickness.
Equipment Operation: Expertly operate and maintain professional machinery, including high-speed burnishers, floor scrubbers, and heavy-duty carpet extractors.
Technical Precision: Apply advanced knowledge of chemical dilution ratios and drying times tailored to specific flooring types (e.g., VCT, terrazzo, concrete).
Equipment & Site Care: Clean and organize vehicles, machinery, and janitorial closets daily; perform light equipment repairs to ensure production efficiency.
