Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time JANITOR position in the Neenah School District at 321 Alcott Drive, Neenah, WI 54956. Openings are available at other district locations. Online applications only.

Full‑time schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM. (Full and part‑time options available to accommodate scheduling needs.)

$18.00 to $19.50 per hour.

• Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred.

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and return them to correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas with specified materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces; follow the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for students, visitors and staff.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
