Utility Porter

• Wash, dry, fold, iron, and store linens for the laundry.
• Adhere to department and property policies regarding guest service standards.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and store linens according to established procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance on laundry equipment, including cleaning dryer traps and greasing flat ironer.
• Maintain production levels according to room occupancy.
• Assist vendors that perform inspections and tests of cleaning agents and operations.
• Handle cleaning products safely.
• Maintain daily worksheets.
• Be willing to work any shift.
• Count and process reclaimed items.
• Weigh and count all received linen.
• Keep accurate counts of delivered and received linen from all receiving departments.
• Remain compliant with uniform appearance standards while on duty.

• No formal education required.
• One year of experience as a washer/folder/sorter is helpful.
• Knowledge of operating laundry equipment is a plus.
