Job Description
Performs advanced and specialized facilities maintenance and repair activities for the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas.
Responsibilities- Install and maintain plumbing, replace stools, urinals, sinks, faucets, and pipes.
- Replace floor and ceiling tiles.
- Maintain heating and air conditioning systems to ensure reliable operation.
- Repair office equipment and furniture, and maintain adequate lighting structures.
- Support facility operations by removing snow, ice and debris.
- High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of facilities maintenance experience (or equivalent education and experience).
- Knowledge of general sanitation, environmental safety, maintenance techniques, preventive repair and maintenance practices.
- Skill in maintaining and repairing facilities, structures and equipment.
- Valid Kansas driver’s license required.
$18.55- $23.62/hr.
