Summary:

Responsible for keeping assigned floors stocked with linens and dry goods.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Vacuum all guest corridors and in assigned section.
• Thorough dusting of all applicable areas.
• Clean all vending machine areas and linen closets daily.
• Clean all fire escapes on assigned floors daily.
• Pick up and dispose of all linen and trash from Guest Room Attendants' carts.
• Spot clean all walls and other wall coverings in assigned area as deemed necessary by the Team Leader.
• Wash and polish all cigarette urns daily.
• Keep all hallway walls and doors free of dirt, smudges and finger prints.
• Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

Qualifications:

No experience required. The primary language spoken is English; ability to read, write, understand and speak English. Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company. Verify right to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently required to walk and stand for long periods.
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Potential Work Environment Conditions:

The work environment is characterized as a hotel setting requiring multi-tasking, where standard equipment will be supplied and used as a part of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The immediate work environment is smoke free; however a smoking environment does exist in the building.
