Summary
Responds to facility maintenance service requests, performing routine repairs and troubleshooting on building systems. Maintains high service standards in clinical and public-facing areas, ensuring all repairs are performed with minimal disruption to patient care and hospital operations. Assists senior engineering staff in the preventative maintenance and operation of critical utility systems, including HVAC, emergency power, and medical gas distribution. Utilizes the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document daily work orders, track inventory usage, and maintain accurate records of facility infrastructure.
Job DescriptionSeeking Engineer/Maintenance Mechanic! Full-time, 7:00am-3:30pm (flexible), Monday-Friday, occasional weekends Baptist Health Floyd Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area.
To perform a variety of general maintenance tasks including performing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on a variety of hospital medical equipment according to established procedures. Inspects, calibrates, adjusts, lubricates and repairs or replaces components and documents services rendered in a timely manner and according to professional standards.
