Job Title and Location

General Maintenance Technician II – New Albany, Ohio.

Responsibilities
  • Performs planned maintenance on all building equipment and related services for specific areas.
  • Operates and maintains HVAC equipment and systems for the facility.
  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs heating and ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, air dryers, compressors, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Performs preventative maintenance inspections and develops maintenance procedures.
  • Maintains spare parts inventory and informs stock persons of parts consumed.
  • Assists in installing, inspecting new equipment and servicing installations.
  • Provides support to co‑workers, contractors, vendors, project managers, building managers, and engineers for project and renovation work.
  • Complies with all governmental, company, and industrial regulations, codes, standards, health and safety practices, and permit systems.
  • Responds to and provides service and feedback to the customer on all work orders, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations and industry standards.
  • Recommends measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance.
  • Safely performs functions of the position, following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE.
  • Operates various measuring, diagnostic and testing instruments for energy efficiency solutions.
  • Maintains a strict schedule while demonstrating flexibility in day‑to‑day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the customer.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience as an HVAC/R Maintenance Technician or Facility Maintenance Technician in a data center, industrial environment, hospital, laboratory, manufacturing facility, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher.
Additional Requirements
  • Must pass a pre‑employment substance abuse test.
  • May require a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a security access badge at the client’s location.
Physical and

Special Requirements
  • Repetitive wrist movement; ability to walk extensively during a workday.
  • Ability to climb extension ladders, roof ladders, stepladders, and stairs.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, stretch, and move in a 90‑degree position.
  • Ability to differentiate colors for wire color‑coding.
  • Reading and understanding information on documents or computer screens; operating a computer keyboard and office equipment.
  • Ability to attend meetings on site and travel to other locations, including occasional air travel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via telephone, meetings, and presentations.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office.
  • Capability to move light to medium weight materials.
  • Professional and friendly interaction with all clients.
  • Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other PPE as required.
  • Cope with job demands and stressors to maintain performance.
Compensation

$26–$29 per hour (subject to variation based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and market data).
