** Overview*
* Our client is an established automotive supplier specializing in plastic injection-molded components and related manufacturing operations. The New Baltimore facility uses injection-molding machines, robotics, material-handling systems, and auxiliary equipment to support production.
The Plastics Maintenance Technician will serve as the primary maintenance resource on second shift, independently troubleshooting production and auxiliary equipment, completing preventive and corrective maintenance, and helping minimize downtime. Phone support is available from other maintenance team members, but this person must be comfortable prioritizing work and resolving most issues with limited oversight.

** 2nd Shift, 2:45pm

** Pay Rate:
** Up to $33.75/hr. _(+ $1.25 shift premium)_
** Responsibilities:*
* + Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and basic pneumatic issues affecting production and auxiliary equipment.
+ Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic prints, schematics, work orders, and equipment specifications.
+ Troubleshoot equipment failures to the component level and complete repairs that safely restore operation.
+ Support plastic injection-molding machines, material-conveying systems, dryers, vacuum and water pumps, thermalators, hot-runner systems, and related auxiliary equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and adjust secondary automation equipment, sensors, cameras, Keyence equipment, pneumatic valves, and FANUC or Ranger robots.
+ Perform assigned preventive maintenance, inspections, corrective repairs, and equipment reassembly independently.
+ Document completed work and communicate equipment status, recurring issues, and recommended follow-up actions.
+ Assist with minor welding, carpentry, and general facility repairs as needed.
+ Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements and company rules for forklift and overhead-crane operation.

* Qualifications:

* + High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ At least 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on training.
+ Maintenance experience in plastics manufacturing or an injection-molding environment.
+
Experience with injection-molding machines, auxiliary systems, secondary automation, FANUC or Ranger robots, thermolators, sensors, cameras, and pneumatic valves.
+ Strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, including the ability to read and use schematics.
+ Hands-on mechanical repair experience and working knowledge of pneumatic systems.
+ Ability to diagnose equipment problems to the failed component and determine the appropriate repair.
+ Strong judgment, initiative, organization, communication, and ownership of assigned work.
+ Personal toolbox with a broad selection of maintenance hand tools required.
