Machine Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely supporting the daily operations of the maintenance department. This includes performing routine inspections of equipment and machinery as needed, as well as completing repairs and maintaining the building, equipment, and machinery. This role also involves carrying out preventive maintenance and assisting others with their preventive maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs
• Complete product changeovers as needed
• Handle general building maintenance
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Report major repair needs or parts shortages to the lead
• Complete maintenance paperwork

Qualifications:

• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• General maintenance experience
• Knowledge of PLCs, cameras, electrical systems, and heat sealing is a plus
• Familiar with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
